Launching aboard Path of Exile : dominance on March 4, the Perandus Challenge Leagues offer the wealth of the Eternal Empire. Discover caches of Perandus family treasure, slay their guardians, and claim the coins contained within. Trade these coins to Cadiro Perandus himself to receive vital equipment and ancient artefacts .
The Perandus Ascension
Before the Cataclysm, and before the Purity Rebellion, the Perandus syndicate ruled over Sarn. Chitus Perandus was the first to navigate the Lord ‘s Labyrinth, the first base to show that it could be beaten. He was aided immeasurably in this attempt by his uncle, Cadiro Perandus .
Cadiro Perandus was a master of mint, the minister of finance in the kingdom both before and after his class ‘s rise. His avarice was fabled, for he was a fan of Prospero, the ancient Azmerian god of the hell, the worldly concern, and all its boundless treasures.
The Perandus Fall
The Perandus reign was brief, cut short by the Purity Rebellion and the death of Emperor Chitus. however, in the months before the revolt, a firm stream of everyday carts and wagons flowed from the capital, bearing a secret cargo to the far reaches of Wraeclast. By the time House Perandus fell, Cadiro had managed to steal the entirety of the kingdom ‘s treasury .
Stolen Treasures
In the wake up of the Cataclysm, the locations of the kingdom ‘s steal treasures, secreted off in caches throughout the land, were lost to record and narrative. Of the Perandus family, only Cadiro remains alive, everlastingly sustained by his devotion to Prospero. He wanders the countryside in search of his lose caches, tidal bore to reclaim them and their riches .
Interested in a Bargain?
Anyone lucky enough to uncover one of the lost caches will discover something remarkable : handful of glittering coins, currentness of the Eternal Empire. Time has not diminished Cadiro ‘s crave for gold, he will eagerly exchange one of his wares for a price. Cadiro ‘s offerings span closely everything an exile desires. For adequate coins, he may even sell you a map to his family ‘s bequest, the Perandus Mansion .
Treasures of a Fallen Age
The Perandus were an esteemed, affluent kin retentive before they realized their imperial ambitions. As they gained riches and fame, they steadily acquired ancient and potent artefacts from Wraeclast ‘s past. Cadiro had these relics stashed in characterless boxes, crates and vaults to throw off likely thieves. Count yourself lucky if you find one of these caches, but be leery. The guardians will not relinquish their riches easily .
Indebted Guardians
Like many affluent families of their sidereal day, the Perandus family were quick to lend and quicker inactive to charge sake. They had many debtors. normally death forgives a debt, but not when a union is owed to an adherent of Prospero. After the Cataclysm, the deity bound the slain Perandus debtors in endless servitude, bidding them to forever guard the syndicate ‘s wealth. You will find them near Cadiro ‘s caches, waiting indefatigably for their master ‘s restitution .
Generous Rewards
In addition to the huge rewards earned from the Perandus Caches and Cadiro himself, you can earn respective exclusive microtransactions for completing challenges .
The Perandus leagues include a set of 40 new challenges. When you complete 12 challenges, you receive the Perandus Footprints Effect. At 24, you receive the Perandus Weapon Effect. When you complete your 36th challenge, you receive the Perandus Portal Effect. These microtransactions are entirely available in this league .
From the 19th challenge onwards and for every third base challenge after that, you receive pieces of a Perandus Totem Pole decoration to display in your hideout. The Totem Pole permanently showcases how many of the Perandus challenges you completed during this league.
