Payday is an attack move, that gives you 500 coins per use after you won the fight. (1000, if your pokemon is holding an amulet coin) This makes it the most efficient way to earn money aside from using real money. There is a TM, short for technical machine for “payday”. TM s are a way to teach pokemon an attack when they normally don’t learn it by leveling up.

Where can you find the TM payday?
Type /warp shop into the chat to teleport to the shop. The npc, that sells the TM is on the third floor. He is called “normal”. Payday is TM 106 and costs 2500 coins. (You can teach your pokemon Tms by holding the object – a disc – in your hand and right click your pokemon. Your poki need to be “outside”/”out of the pokeball” for this to work)

How do I earn 2500 coins?
Npc Trainer spawn randomly as long as you are not underground. You get money upon defeating them. You also can simply vote for the server. You seriously should consider the second one. This server is great and deserves support ^^

Which pokemon can learn “payday”?
You can find a list here:
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Payday

What are the best pokemon to learn “payday”?
I would advice snorlax. I also depends on what you re trying to do, but every strategie using payday is doable with snorlax. He is tough, has recovery and has decent offensive stat with the right nature. The best movement set (imo) is: payday, crunch/bodyslam, rest, snore. Rest/snore are used in case you need hp. Crunch/bodyslam are moves in case you run out of payday and need to finish the fight. Bodyslam has more damage, but crunch is useable against ghost pokemon.

You can also use meowth, since he learns payday without needing a tm. However, he lacks recovery, which can makes it rather annoying later on as meowth/persian is quite fragile.

plunderer : felicitous Hour Pokemon ( advanced )Show happy Hour is a move, that doubles “ prize money earned at the end of conflict ”. In combination with payday it makes you even more money. however, you need a go tutor to teach “ felicitous Hour ”. presently there are 4 pokemon that would benefit from “ felicitous Hour ” since they re besides able to learn payday. Those are meowth, delibird, smeargle and pikachu. I would recommend the comply movement set : payday, happy Hour, Rest, Sleep Talk. I haven thymine tried it myself so far, which is why I don thyroxine know what strat suits those pokis, but strat 4 should always work. Thanks @ TheLeatherTunic & Snaxy for making me mindful of this move
(Timid) Slowbro gets a honourable mention for all the advanced users. He has great bulk, recovery and a low attack stat. He won t kill anything, but he will unload all 20 uses on a trainer without the trainer loosing. In some cases that might be useful, but it is ill adviced for new players. Being able to actually beat trainers is more useful than being able to unload all 20 uses without winning the fight (when you re new).

What are effort points and what effort points should I get for snorlax?
Upon beating a pokemon a pokemon gets effort points depending on the pokemon he has beaten. Every 4 effort points give 1 status point. Snorlax should get mainly defensive effort points (and attack points or special defence points), since he is lacking in the defensive stat, but don t worry too much about effort points. You re going at most against level 70 pokemon. Level 70 pokemon shouldn t be a problem with a level 100 pokemon.
You can check upon Evs-points by typing /evs slot in the chat. A list of what effort points pokemon yield you can find here:
(you have to copy/paste this one)

What are the best strategies to use payday?
Currently there are two strategies. I didn t measure the gain/time, but I suspect the first one to be more effective.

plunderer : Strat 1 – outdated strat – doesn thymine employment anymoreShow

Pros:
– since you should be able 1-shot every pokemon that spawns and spawns are rather frequent, you should rack up a good amount fast
Cons:
– you need pixelmongras – pixelmongras doesn t spawn naturally/isn t obtainable (you can only get it from other players/real money sales)
– booooooring
(Tip: When there is no pokemon spawning in pixelmongras, fight a normal one and come back)
This is what pixelmongras looks like:

b3402c6911.png Strat 1 : Find pixelmongras and fight pokemon continuously.Pros : – since you should be able 1-shot every pokemon that spawns and spawns are rather frequent, you should rack up a good amount fastCons : – you need pixelmongras – pixelmongras doesn t engender naturally/isn deoxythymidine monophosphate gettable ( you can only get it from other players/real money sales ) – booooooring ( Tip : When there is no pokemon engender in pixelmongras, fight a convention one and come back ) This is what pixelmongras looks like :
Strat 2: Give your pokemon an amulet coin and hunt level 70 trainers
Amulet coin doubles money taken from npc trainers. Level 70 give ~ 3k upon defeating them. Amulet coin doubles this amount to 6k. Combined with payday you get around 14k/trainer, but it depends on the trainertype.
How to craft amulet coin:

Pros:
– it is more fun to fight trainers than stand in pixelmon gras
Cons:
– It is still boring
– sometimes your pokemon gets beaten

spoiler : Strat 3 – forbid strat – continue with circumspectionShow
It is forbidden to talk about it or use the strat. However, you can t avoid it, if you don t know what it is, right? 😉 The final statement about the strat is the following:
plunderer : concluding verdict about the prevent proficiencyShowSnaxy wrote : This rule is temoparly set nothing about it is written in gem as for nowadays, we dont want to see any of it used or talked about. Its an decision by higher ups and theres a reason they are where they are, they know what their doing and have every right to do so. If you want to take risk by not following the rules be my guest, guest to the house of bans that is it, alot of people has been banned for exploiting issues tied with paydaying, iodine would advise staying away from it. concluding affirmation .

How the strat works:
You can use payday against “real” trainers and the “gain” stays after the fight. It basically works the same as against npc trainers. The benefit is to be able to use payday continously against pokis, that are also build to use payday effectively. Take slowpoke vs slowpoke for example. There is no way, that slowpokes kill each other with payday.

My thoughts on its effectiveness
Basically it is a trade off between time and the reward you get by fighting npc trainers. Against “real” trainers you can use payday faster, but you won t get the win reward from beating npcs. It all boils down to how much money you are able to generate in a set time limit by using either of those strats.

However I doubt it is truely faster than the old pixelgras strat. And I m not even sure if the forbidden strat is faster than strat 2, because there are other issues to keep in mind. One example is battle lag. There was a time in pixelmon, when it took around 20-30 seconds to register attacks, sometimes longer. A fight against npcs was way faster than that. Also, asking people to waste their time with boring payday-fights may also quite hard, lawl.

Anyways, although it is not officially mentioned in the server rule listings, it is clearly forbidden! So don t waste your time with a strat, that is potentially slower than others and also is able to get you banned. It is clearly not worth it ^^. Strat 3 : The forbid proficiency – please proceed with caution. however, you can t avoid it, if you don triiodothyronine know what it is, right ? The final affirmation about the strat is the follow : reference : hypertext transfer protocol : //www.pixelmonharmony.com/forum/m/39642050/viewthread/29810316-payday-exploits How the strat works : You can use payday against “ real ” trainers and the “ addition ” stays after the competitiveness. It basically works the same as against nonproliferation center trainers. The profit is to be able to use payday continously against pokis, that are besides build to use payday efficaciously. Take plodder vs slowpoke for model. There is no way, that slowpokes kill each other with payday. My thoughts on its effectivenessBasically it is a trade off between time and the reward you get by fighting nonproliferation center trainers. Against “ veridical ” trainers you can use payday faster, but you won t get the gain wages from beating nonproliferation center. It all boils down to how a lot money you are able to generate in a place time limit by using either of those strats.. And I m not even certain if the prevent strat is faster than strat 2, because there are other issues to keep in thinker. One example is conflict lag. There was a time in pixelmon, when it took around 20-30 seconds to register attacks, sometimes longer. A fight against nonproliferation center was way faster than that. besides, asking people to waste their time with drilling payday-fights may besides quite hard, lawl.Anyways, although it is not officially mentioned in the server rule listings, it is clearly prevent ! ^^ .
spoiler : Strat 4 – requieres premium rank – not safe/not recommendedShow Strat 4 : question over to the ev-training area ( /warp evtraining ) and kill those pokis. It works similiar to strat 1, but slower. however, since strat 1 international relations and security network t functional anymore, this should be the fastest one. immediately let me get some things clear.

Strat 4 involves using a mechanic/structure of the game not for their intended purpose. Some may call it “ abusing the game ”. then again, I haven deoxythymidine monophosphate found a thread/rule so far, that is against it. Hence it is technically allowed, huehuehue.

To be completlely condom however, I recommend strat 2. It is fast adequate for its purpose and 100 % safe. I can see strat 4 potentially banned in the future and to avoid getting banned, because you didn triiodothyronine catch the latest news about, dont use this method acting. ( rather, again, use strat 2 ; ) )

Obviously you can combine those methods if you want.

Where is the best place to use those strats?
BustaCapps, a player, created a huge flat area, where trainer spawning is ideal. You can find it at -14800/-14800. Message him “thank you” when you see him online. It is well deserved. It is basically is a huge flat area with 3 different bioms and healer/pcs standing around. If you see me online, I can port you there. Don t forget to set a home, so you can return when you wish for it.

Cheap in what sense? In a sense, that is close to cheating? Or cheap in a sense, that this is easy to do? Both are correct. If I remember correct knowledge about “payday” pretty much busted the economy, easily doubling prices of pokemon. But that is totally allright. My goal was to allow easier access to TM’s and items bought in the shop, so people can be more competitive. (Buying ideal items, buying ideal moves, being able to test stuff etc) Which is exactly what I achieved with this guide, at least at that time.

Cheap as in like it made everything way more low-cost. I have seen an exemplar of a public Pokemon waiter with disabled Payday and everything became more expensive.
Payday is a brassy way to make money as in a sense than just selling pokemon or fossils. It is an effective way, but I do not appreciate the aspect of people making billions with Payday .

It all depends on what you see Pixelmon as. Do you see it as RPG ? Or do you see it as Battle Simulator with rpg-aspects. If you view it chiefly as RPG you might have an argument against “ payday ” as it makes everything easy. I do, as you might have guessed, not.

I don t like “ walls ”, that players have to overcome in order to enjoy battling at its highest vertex. Payday provides a way to keep “ farming ” to a minimum while maximising the fourth dimension to battle others, testing abilities & farce. I see way more value & fun in the ladder than in the erstwhile.

I like to add points.
First of all – farm fossils is in no way lake superior to payday farming. The alone dispute is the tax and the advantage. Both are dead boring, repetitive and primarily have their use in farming money.

Second – a batch of players have realized that there is no value in money. You can t buy anything related to pokemon themselves. Player may offer pokemon for money, but then again – if noone is offering pokemon for money, you can t get it for money. The real RPG-challenge, if you may call it then, is to get competitive pokemon. You much times can t buy them and the only way to get them is to breed. True prize according to this is not generated with earning money, but with breed .

happy Hour is a Normal-type move that doubles the total of PokéDollars gained after defeating an NPC Trainer. Its multiplier stacks with the Amulet Coin and Luck Incense held items, but does not stack with itself.
From rich kids trainers at level 70 you get with a raichu with amulet mint and happy hour a sum amount of 44840 pokedollars .
